✨ Key Tips:
- Before you start, give your glass cube bottle a quick clean to remove any dust or residue.
- Take your time when outlining your design, following the transfer lines as closely as possible.
- Keep a tissue nearby to wipe the tip of the liner tube and prevent any build-up.
- Made a mistake with the liner? Don’t worry – simply wipe it off and try again!
- Please note, this craft kit is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.
⏰ How Long Does This Tutorial Take?
Creating your reed diffuser will take around 2 hours, plus drying time for both the liner and paint stages. You can also spread the project over multiple craft sessions if you prefer.
🎨 Make It Your Way
Here are some tips for personalising your Glass Painted Reed Diffuser:
- Design your own: Templates are provided to get you started, but you can customise these or create your own design. Simply draw your design on plain paper and use it with the transfer paper in the same way.
- Build up the colour: Layer your glass paints to create richer, more intense colour. Leave some areas lighter with just one layer, then add extra layers elsewhere for depth.
- Scentsational scents: Fill your bottle with a ready-made reed diffuser fragrance, or create your own blend using fragrance oil mixed with a reed diffuser base such as Augeo Clean Multi. Use 10ml of fragrance oil for every 100ml of base.
