There’s nothing better than getting together with a friend, popping the kettle on and spending some time crafting (and nattering!). It's a lovely way to catch up and inspire each other with new ideas, so we've picked some of our favourite crafts to do together...

1. Scrapbooking

A beautiful way to capture what's inspiring you, share memories and create new ones, making a scrapbook with your friend is a lovely way to while away the hours. Share stories you'd forgotten with a big ol' dollop of creativity, and you’ll end the evening with a gorgeous keepsake.

2. Macramé

If you fancy making something quite quickly, macramé is great for a little evening project. Try making some super cute matching keyrings or mini plant hangers! Our tutorial for a macrame plant hanger is one of the most popular ones on YouTube and you'll find it right here.

3. Lampshade making

Having a spare pair of hands is really helpful when it comes to lampshade making! Take it in turns to create your own personalised shade for your home, and it'll also remind you of the fun you had making them together.

4. Make Seasonal Decorations

Because who doesn't love the excuse of a new season to begin another craft project?! You could go all out with Christmas wreaths or decoupage Easter eggs. Oh, and how could we forget pumpkin decorating?! The list is endless...

5. Artificial Flower Crowns

A great craft to do with your bestie or a larger group of friends (we love this as a hen party activity!), there are many ways you can make beautiful, vibrant flower crowns that you can keep for years to come. Go down the traditional route of using silk flowers or opt for something more contemporary by using felt to create totally bespoke flowers!

Whatever you end up making together, don't forget the most important thing is to be playful and have fun!
