Inspired by Ordnance Survey maps, this project involves building up these two A5, 3D Topographic Pinboards out of cork, ready to add your inspiration to…
This kit was posted in August 2021.
Topographic maps show the contours of the land, with each line representing a distance above sea level. When the lines are closer together, they show a steep incline; further apart and you’d be on a gentle hill.
When making this project, you can either use our template to map out your cork contours or choose actual OS map layouts from your own special place or landscape… just sketch it out on paper in advance to make sure you have enough cork!
Your kit has everything you’ll need to create your set of 2 x A5 Topographic Pinboards; hang them together, or prop them up on your desk for day-to-day inspiration and tasks.
Your box includes:
- 2 x A5 Cork base boards
- 4 x Cork sheets
- Paint set (8 colours of tubes to choose from)
- Brush
- PVA glue
- Picture hanging tabs
- Template
You’ll also have step-by-step photo instructions and a video tutorial online to make it easy to follow along.
