✨ Top Tips Before You Begin
- Transfer and carve one design at a time – if you transfer them all at once, your hand might smudge the pencil lines as you go.
- Remember: whatever you carve away won’t print. The lino you don’t cut will be the part that shows up in ink.
- A handy tip – shade in the areas you want to keep with pencil so you don’t accidentally carve them out.
- Always carve away from your fingers and hands to avoid any unexpected ouch moments.
- Please note, this craft kit is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.
⏱️ How Long Will It Take?
Creating your own lino printed beach bag should take around 2-3 hours in total, plus 4 hours drying time. This can be split across multiple crafting sessions.
🎨 Make It Your Own
Here are some tips for personalising your Lino Printed Beach Bag Box:
- Design your Own Stamps: Although we have provided you with a design template, you can carve whatever design you’d like from your piece of lino. We recommend you draw it on to paper first to ensure it will fit nicely.
- Embellish Away: Want to add more details and textures to your printed bag? Raid your craft stash and get creative – embroider a summery quote, pimp your plants with beads and sequins, let your imagination run wild!
- 360 Degree Pattern: If you don’t want the crafting to end, carry on printing your pattern on the other side of your bag too. You can even print on to the fabric handles to ensure every bit if your bag is decorated.
