🧵 What’s in Your Kit?
- 2 wooden frames
- Paints
- 1 brush
- 3 wooden embellishments (including word pieces)
- Extra fun embellishments (hearts, butterflies, flowers)
- Glue dots
Plus, you'll need:
- Cup of water (to rinse your brush)
- Paper towel (to dry your brush)
- Tray/plate for mixing paint
- Newspaper/old cloth (to protect your table)
- Apron or old t-shirt (painting can be messy!)
✨ Top Tips Before You Begin
- Thin layers are best! Paint in 2–3 light coats instead of one thick one.
- Rinse, wipe, repeat. Clean your brush between colours so your frame stays bright and beautiful.
- Plan your colours. Start with your darkest shade, then add white to make lighter ones.
- Blend like magic. Where two colours meet, dab your brush to make a smooth ombré.
- Lay it out first. Try arranging embellishments on the frame before sticking them down.
- Dry time matters. Let your paint dry before adding decorations—otherwise they’ll slide off!
