Embroidery Kit Tutorial

For this craft kit and tutorial, we made two little embroidered woodland creatures, with stitch tutorial, pre-printed fabric, stuffing and all you need to make two little hangings. I’m live near woodlands and farms and regularly see lots of wee birdies and rabbits when out walking. They, and a love of folk art, inspired this project. We’ve chosen bright colours than can be used year-round, but these little guys will also live quite happily on your Christmas tree! While this kit has sold out, we used a wide range of embroidery stitch types, which I’m sure you’ll have fun playing with! Enjoy the tutorial video: So now I’d love to hear from you - what creatures live near and inspire you? Our conversations happen over in our free Creative Adventure Tribe community - come and join us!

Our next kit is Felt Christmas Baubles! These are a lot of fun to create, cutting out the felt pieces, adding embroidery, making them into little baubles, then adding shiny golden and silvery beads to glitter and sparkle in the light. Full templates and ideas for the patterns are included in the kit, or you can go to town personalising them with your own designs. Learn more...

December's kit will be shipped by Friday 14 December.

In a hurry? Buy one of our immediately available kits and we'll post out by the next working day.
