We've a satisfying, tactile project for you this month, to make a woven raffia basket from natural raffia and beautiful paper ribbon - with one of three different colours available!
(Orders for this kit have now closed, and the kit will be posted on the 15 June 2020.)
This is a lovely process, binding together layers of raffia to build up your basket, perfect to keep your stash of wool, craft supplies or fruit in.
The project is nice and easy to follow too - repeating a similar stitch throughout the basket to build it up - and as ever, you'll have step-by-step photo instructions and a video tutorial online to make it easy to follow along.
There are three different paper ribbon varieties for this kit - so you could have white, caramel (lovely tonal match) or gold (bit of bling!) - with a lucky dip for which one you'll create.
(But if you'd loooove a particular colour to go with your kitchen scheme, just send us a note from the email address you use to order with, and we'll do our best to give you that colour!)
Your kit included all you need, with two hanks of natural raffia, 100 metres of paper ribbon and a sewing needle, as well as your step by step photo instructions and a wee extra for your pinboard!
Orders for this kit have now closed, but read on to learn more about subscribing and joining us for future projects.
If you've bought this craft kit, you'll find your tutorial video below. Your password is on the front of your instructions (in the pink circle)!
