Shibori Craft Kit Tutorial

Yay, it’s the shibori craft kit and tutorial! For this one, we bring you the gorgeous Japanese dyeing form in a table top format. You don’t need outdoor space or big vats of dye for this one, it’s easy to make in your home. Our kit came with three sample pieces of fabric for you to experiment with different binding processes, and a tote bag to make your final piece. If you’ve ever wondered how to create these dyeing effects, or thought it was too tricky to do at home, fear not! We’ve the full tutorial, with video instructions below. I’d love to hear from you - which form of folding the fabric to dye is your favourite? Our conversations happen over in our free Creative Adventure Tribe community - come and join us!

Our next kit is Felt Christmas Baubles! These are a lot of fun to create, cutting out the felt pieces, adding embroidery, making them into little baubles, then adding shiny golden and silvery beads to glitter and sparkle in the light. Full templates and ideas for the patterns are included in the kit, or you can go to town personalising them with your own designs. Learn more...

December's kit will be shipped by Friday 14 December.

In a hurry? Buy one of our immediately available kits and we'll post out by the next working day.
