Embroidery Kit Tutorial
For this craft kit and tutorial, we made two little embroidered woodland creatures, with stitch tutorial, pre-printed fabric, stuffing and all you need to make two little hangings.
I’m live near woodlands and farms and regularly see lots of wee birdies and rabbits when out walking. They, and a love of folk art, inspired this project.
We’ve chosen bright colours than can be used year-round, but these little guys will also live quite happily on your Christmas tree!
While this kit has sold out, we used a wide range of embroidery stitch types, which I’m sure you’ll have fun playing with! Enjoy the tutorial video:

Each month, we design a limited edition craft kit for you. It could be macrame, ceramics, book-binding – or something completely different!
Beautifully packaged, your box will arrive full of inspiration and all the materials, tools and instructions to make a complete project.
This month’s project is to make a Stitched Shibori Tea Towel, perfect to brighten up drying the dishes!
Shibori is the Japanese art of binding or stitching an item of fabric then dyeing it to create beautiful and unusual patterns.
Your kit includes everything you need for the project; you’ll just need scissors, a basin or bucket, and a measuring jug.
