Mindful Inspiration for Spring

Cherry Blossom for Spring

One week we're wearing t-shirts, the next woolly hats and scarfs - it must be the UK in Spring! We're not complaining though, we love this time of year, with the hints of summer to come.

It’s a season of change and new life, so it’s a perfect time to still and reflect, notice the space around you and enjoy the transformation in nature.

We’ve put together some of our favourite ways to bring a little mindfulness to your Spring season, boosting your well-being and feeding into your creative projects.

Spring Seed Sowing

Whether you have a garden, an allotment or simple window box, Spring is the time for seed sowing for a variety of vegetables and flowers!

There’s something beautiful and peaceful about watching a tiny seed flourish and slowly pop out from beneath the soil, watching it grow as it’s given the right care and attention.

Hot Cross Buns

It has to be said that ‘Hot Cross Bun’ season, a.k.a Spring, is one of our favourites!

We recommend giving homemade hot cross buns a go - they really aren’t as hard as you might think! Go traditional, or be adventurous and add flavours like chocolate and orange or apple and cinnamon.

Unplug & Go For A Wander

It’s very easy to get bogged down with work (especially when you’re working from home) or lose time tapping at your phone. Swap your phone and laptop for a book and a flask of tea and head out...

With Spring’s brighter, lighter days, enjoy wandering through your local park, noticing all the new life sprouting up from the earth and on the trees.

The birds are particularly vocal just now so take a moment to sit and have a listen (maybe with that flask of tea!).

Spring Cleaning & Decluttering

In Spring, we get to shake off the winter that's passed, and look anew at the world - and our world. It inspires us to look at what we have - and have a good ol' spring clean.

Sorting through unused craft materials or clothes can be an energetically clearing process, releasing your space from clutter.

We love the Marie Kondo method of asking ‘Does this spark joy?’ as a guide for what stays and what goes.

Decluttering can give new life or a new home to things you’d forgotten about.

Whatever you get up to, enjoy these months!
