Handmade Gift Guide – Screen Printing

As much as we love crafting and working on creative projects ourselves, we also love seeing what amazing handmade gifts there are out there made by talented artists across the country.

We’re bringing you the independent makers whose work we’ve recently happened upon and coveted. Inspired by March’s upcoming Hoop Screen Printing Kit, here’s February’s Gift Guide.


Screen Printed Wall Plaque

Leeds-based artists Sarah and Ruth hand screen print all their wonderful nature-inspired in their West Yorkshire studio. They print their limited edition designs onto wood, paper and textiles.

Lucie Summers designs and prints all her wonderful patterns from her farmhouse in Suffolk. Not only does Lucie create these lovely hardback fabric notebooks, but she also sells her printed fabric for other crafters to enjoy.

Brighton-based Francesco and Sandra use both screen print and lino cut printing methods to create wonderful products like this tote bag from their home. Through their process and choice of materials, these artists are led by sustainability and the environment.

Brittany is a illustrator based in Herefordshire. After studying both Architecture and Illustration at University, Brittany’s work is driven by a sense of place and narrative.
