Bookbinding Kit Tutorial

For this craft kit and tutorial, we’ve made a lovely ‘Exposed Stitch Bookbinding’ notebook, with patterned papers, colourful twine and partially exposed inside pages.

I first learned to book-bind from a friend at Art College, and it’s one of those skills that regularly gets put to use – especially when you come across a divine sheet of paper that *has* to be made into something.

 

It’s not as difficult as you may think to make this little guy, and I predict you’ll love using it! The process involves measuring and creating the hardback cover; tearing, folding and prepping the inside papers, then sewing everything together.
