This month, we’ve taken inspiration from golden sunshine, the way light changes how we see things - or how morning or evening sunlight just catches the edges of things and makes them glow.

This month, as the days start to warm up, we're taking inspiration from golden sunshine; the warmth, the colours it creates, the effect it has on everything around us - that's one inspiring star!

From quickly jotted notes to old fashioned letters, like beautiful little works of art in their own right, there's something special about handwriting that words on a screen just don't compete with.

This month’s project is to make a Japanese-bound notebook with a hand-marbled paper cover and beautiful cream pages inside.

This month, we're taking inspiration from railway journeys, and the heritage, craftsmanship and romance of steam railways. Who doesn't love a steam railway journey?!

It's time for needle felting!

If you haven't tried this before, needle felting lets you take beautiful soft wool and use a felting needle to 'stab' it into shape.

We've taken inspiration from the colours of heather and bluebell covered woods for this kit.

We got in touch with Sophie Wheatley, a needle felting artist whose work we really admire, and founder of All Things Felt and Beautiful. Sophie's work is inspired by people’s love for their dogs; she can recreate any dog so accurately that her felt sculptures serve as a lifelong reminder of much-loved pooches.
